Huck Betts(7-9) went 7 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Bob Smith recorded the save, his 6th. Hubbell(18-6) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 10 hits and 1 walk in 7 innings. Boston now has a record of 48-59. With the loss, New York has a record of 6-4 lately, 68-40 overall.
