complete game and first baseman Sam Leslie had 3 base hits at Polo Grounds as



the Brooklyn Dodgers beat the New York Giants 3 to 1.







Mungo(9-8) had a strong outing. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 7



hits and 2 walks in 9 innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.81 to 3.56.



Brooklyn totaled 12 on the afternoon.







Fred Fitzsimmons(9-6) took the loss. He surrendered 3 runs and 11 hits in 7



innings.
