Gehrig Returns to Yankees in Time to Resume Streak

Gehrig was expected to miss at least a few games after being hit in the head by a pitch in an exhibition game two days ago. Gehrig, however, checked himself out of the Norfolk hospital where he had been admitted and managed to catch a steamboat to Washington, DC to rejoin his teammates.
